For backpack freaks like me who always need one at almost every instant of the day, making a choice as to a best buy may not be easily because value for money is very important. Value for money – that is exactly why I like the North Face Surge backpack. Previously, I have been using other brands of backpacks but recently, I decided to buy a North Face Surge. Three months has passed since I got my first North Face Surge backpack and I really seem to be enjoying it. For a college student like me, you need a “college backpack” that meets your needs. Does North Face Surge meet those needs? The quality of this college backpack, although a multi-usage choice is available, is in my opinion unrivaled.
I go back and forth to school everyday usually in public transport and sometimes on a bike. The North Face Surge has well shaped back panel made of breathable mesh. Not only does it stand the test of rain and mud, it is easy to clean. With the North Face Surge college backpack, you are able to load your goods a little higher via the angled front bottom. Obviously, it provides a high level of efficiency with carrying the load. The versatile nature of the North Face Surge is incomparable. Other than having more than enough pockets, it provides an elastic compression pocket into which my notebook fits in nicely and safely.
The nice padded power cord pocket helps to protect my notebook form getting scratched by other electronic gadgets, thus, providing pockets that also allow for the safekeeping of each accessory. The main compartment has a large enough room for books, ledgers, and lunch. For those who like to strap their cell phone on their backpack, the North Face Surge provides an excellent mesh pocket on the right side shoulder strap for that purpose. Another inviting feature of the North Face Surge is the tuck-away hip belt for those who like the hip belt hidden. The water bottle holders are appealing also, allowing me a quick refreshing drink each time.
Lest I forget, there is an audio port in the main compartment which allows me the serenity of my immediate environment with the use of my MP3 player. Although I may not fancy the position of the handle – towards the middle part of the top of the pack – it works fine for carrying with my hand, but not hanging on a hook. Also, aside from the shoulder straps, the seven other straps seem a bit excessive. There is also something else to bear in mind: the compression pocket will not hold a laptop measuring above 18 inches. If you need a college backpack, try the North Face Surge and I bet, you would like it. It’s great!
